Guy & Becky

Becky and Guy met in 2012 and have six children and four grandchildren. After enjoying a family sailing trip to the BVI in 2017, they began to dream of owning and chartering their own boat. Shortly after, they took the leap and had a custom Foutaine Pajot 40’ catamaran built to fulfill their dream. They now look forward to sharing this dream with you, their new friends and passengers!

Captain Guy grew up by the water on the eastern shore of Maryland and has had a lifelong love of the water. Guy previously was in the USAF for seven years and an Air Traffic Controller for 23 years with the FAA at Washington Center before retiring in 2016. Soon after they met, Guy was able to share his love of sailing with Becky.

First Mate Becky grew up in McLean, VA and graduated from JMU with a degree in accounting. Becky founded and owned her own CPA firm for 15 years prior to becoming a realtor in VA. Becky loves travel, yoga, fitness, making soups, and is a talented decorator and designer.

Most importantly: We love to entertain and be around fun people!!!

Scott & Koala

Koala and Scott met in 2018 and have been dancing and sailing together ever since! They split their time living in San Francisco, Colorado, the Virgin Islands, and other sailing destinations! Koala and Scott have a passion to share yacht sailing and adventure travel. This is their 3rd season in the USVI and they look forward to sharing this dream with you, their new friends on Ciao Bella!!

Captain Scott first found his love of the water boating and waterskiing the Lakes of Minnesota. He received his sailing credentials while living in the UK, and has chartered sails in the Caribbean, Europe, the South Pacific, and Americas. Recently, he has been working as a captain and sailing instructor on San Francisco Bay sharing his knowledge with new boaters! He has two grown children, and enjoys skiing, trekking, and biking. Scott has visited 57 countries to date.

Koala is from Far North Queensland in Australia. She previously worked in hospitality, charter boats to the Great Barrier Reef, and ventured in long distance coastal sailing. She completed ASA credentials in San Francisco, has a BS in nursing, and has worked in Level 1 trauma Emergency Rooms. Koala enjoys meeting new people and offering her special kind of care and unique experience to their day! She has three grown children she raised in Chapel Hill, NC and enjoys biking, cooking, and music.

Mike & Julie

Mike and Julie have been married 40 years and have four children and eight grandchildren. While raising their family, Mike and Julie took family vacations up north which always meant time on the water boating, fishing, skiing, biking and creating lots of great memories with the family.

They have also traveled to tropical destinations to escape the cold winter months. After taking a family trip to the Virgin Islands they knew they would be back for good at some point in the future. They bought a sailboat in Florida after their family was raised and after spending some time there, eventually made the jump to come back to the islands after selling their home and everything they owned in 2019. They have run successful charters in the Virgin Islands ever since!

Mike and Julie have been entrepreneurs most of their lives and Mike has, with Julie, run a personal training business, owned a fitness center, and worked in the oil industry.

Mike and Julie look forward to helping you create lasting lifetime memories in their dream destination!
